Choco-cottage pie
Do you want to try the special hungarian dessert in a pie? Chocolate & cottage cheese is the favorite dessert of every hungarian child, and now you can try it in this amazing dessert.
You can use wholegrain biscuit or even gluten-free one for this sugar-free sweet. And you won’t even notice the difference!
Easy to make, you do not even need to bake!
Ingredients:
- 150 grams – 1+1/3 cup biscuit of your choice
- 30 grams – 1/7 cup coconut oil (liquid)
- 42 grams – 1/7 cup sugar-free hazelnut cream
- 250 grams – 1 cup of lactose free cottage cheese
- 30 grams – 1/7 cup erythritol (or other granulated sweetener)
- 250 grams – 1 cup lactose free mascarpone cheese
- 75 grams – 1/2 cup sugar-free dark chocolate + 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Directions:
- Grind the biscuits with the coconut oil. You need to get a sticky but still crumbly texture. If it does not stich together not even a little bit, add some more oil.
- Use your hands and/or a spoon to smooth the biscuits the bottom of your pie pan. If you can, let’s apply this layer to the side as well.
- Refrigerate it until you prepare the filling.
- With a fork, crush the cottage cheese with the sweetener and mascarpone cheese. Mix it until it is smooth.
- Spread the nut cream on the base taken out of the fridge.
- Now put the cheesy cream on top. Spread it evenly. You can put this back into the cold while you melt the dark chocolate.
- Melt the dark chocolate with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.
- Spread the melted chocolate on the top of the pie. It will take 1-3 hours to freeze.
- At the end you can decorate to your liking with some biscuit crumbs.
